Staples Desk Top Delivery

To campus employees who order supplies through CSUBUY:

Beginning April 3, 2023, Staples Advantage orders will be delivered directly to campus departments using the 3rd party courier service OnTrac. Distribution Services will no longer centrally receive Staples orders and deliver them to campus departments.

Outlined below are a few simple steps CSUBUY shoppers can take to ensure orders are routed to the correct location.

Personal Shipments

Season’s Greetings Everyone!

We are quickly entering that time of year where gifts are being ordered and received.  As a reminder, services provided by Distribution Services are reserved exclusively for university business. The receiving, shipping, or mailing of personal items are not allowed.  SJSU will not pay for any loss or damage which may be incurred to personal shipments. Also, personal shipments sent to Distribution Services may be refused and returned to the carrier.

As an alternative option this holiday season, personal orders through Amazon can be shipped to their new store located at 96 East San Fernando St. For more information about this location and business hours, please visit Amazon@DowntownSanJose . In addition to the Amazon location, packages can be held at FedEx and UPS locations for pickup at no charge.

Distribution Services to Close Early on Friday, Oct 12

Distribution Services will close at 1:45 p.m. for the day on Friday, October 12, in order to attend a Finance Service Group event. The close will modify the October 12 delivery/pickup schedule as follows:

 

  • Outbound mail and packages that need to go out from campus on Friday must be ready for pick up by your morning driver between 10:00 a.m. and 12:00 p.m.
  • Off-campus delivery and collection will begin 30 minutes earlier than usual. The driver will arrive between 12:30 p.m. and 1:30 p.m.
  • There will be no afternoon on-campus deliveries, but we will pick up as usual from the following locations between 1:00 p.m. and 1:30 p.m.– ADM Lockbox, CH 300, CH 500,
    MH 1st Floor, SPX 102 SSC 1st Floor, SU 1st Floor (AS General Services), and WSQ Lockbox.
