Direct Payment Limit Increased for Advertisements
Strategic Sourcing – Procurement to Payment Services has increased the Direct Payment limit for advertisements. Advertisements are allowed through the Direct Payment pathway if it’s under $5,000, instead of the previous limit of $1,500. Please submit a Requisition if advertisements are over $5,000 and/or if there is a contract to sign.
CFS Data Warehouse Upgrade
A new look for the CFS Data Warehouse is on its way!
The CSU is migrating to the latest Oracle Analytics Cloud (OAC) platform, providing a slight change to the look and feel (refer to Figures 3 to 5). Users will see all the same existing dashboards and reports they currently have access to and saved customizations (reports) will transfer to the new OAC.
The new OAC platform was made available on November 16, 2022 and will run concurrently with the existing OBIEE platform. Data in both current and new CFS Data Warehouse environments will refresh nightly. For login instructions to OAC, refer to Figure 1 and 1A. Users should build and save new customizations in the OAC environment. The current Data Warehouse (OBIEE) will be retired on January 27, 2023.
Access the new OAC platform through the CFS Data Warehouse tile in One.SJSU. FinanceConnect will update the campus regarding reference resources as they become available and will be using our regularly scheduled Finance Open Labs for training throughout the coming months. We encourage users to explore the new data warehouse.
Figure 1: Both CFS Data Warehouse OBIEE and OAC are available to users. We recommend users to start using OAC because Legacy will be decommissioned on January 27, 2023.
