A message from Finance and Business Services Senior AVP Kathleen Prunty:
I am very pleased to announce the appointment of Susan Jaynes as the Director for Budget Planning & Financial Management for the Finance & Business Services Leadership Team at San Jose State University. Susan joined San Jose State University in 2016 and has held several significant financial roles for the university including Financial Planning for Capital Projects and Interim Budget Director. She accepted the new role as of November 1, 2021.
Susan has a strong background in higher education financial planning and budgeting including prior service at Northwestern University and Harvard University. She serves on several committees and task forces for the university including the Joint Enrollment Planning Committee and the Budget Advisory Council. She represents SJSU on the system wide Budget Officers Association.
Susan is a certified Corporate Financial Planning & Analysis Professional (FP&A) and received a Bachelor of Science in Business, Finance from Indiana University – Kelley School of Business.
