Go-Live Week: January 26 – January 30, 2026

Your primary goal for Week 1 is to log in, verify your user profile, and get comfortable with the new interface. Use the links below to join our live sessions.

1. Monday/Wednesday Kick-Off: Intro & Set-up Sessions

These are 1-hour virtual sessions held throughout the day on Monday, January 26 and also in the morning of Wednesday, January 28. Sessions are limited to 20 participants – registration is required. Find a session that fits your schedule:

If you have any trouble joining the zoom meeting, then check your email for a confirmation from Zoom.

2. Tues/Weds Drop-In: Open Office Hours

Focus: Troubleshooting login issues, profile questions, basic navigation, or hands-on support entering a requisition.

If you couldn’t make the Monday sessions or have specific questions, jump into our virtual office hours. We will use breakout rooms to give you 1-on-1 support.

• When: 2:00 PM – 3:00 PM Tuesday, January 27 or Wednesday, January 28

3. Friday: Hands-On Labs [In-Person]

Focus: Practical practice. We will walk through the “Top 10” things you need to know to survive your first week.

These in-person sessions, limited to 25 participants, require registration. A calendar invitation from FinanceConnect will be your official confirmation.

• Friday, January 30: 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM
• Friday, Jan 30: 2:00 PM – 4:00 PM

What to bring: Your laptop and any “cutover” requisition info you need to enter.

 Your Week 1 Checklist

1. Log In: Ensure your SJSU credentials work on the new CSUBuy portal.
2. Set Defaults: Update your “Ship To” and “Chartfield” defaults in your profile to save time later.
3. Check Notifications: Adjust your email settings so you only get the alerts you actually want.
4. Bookmark the Calendar: Keep the Training Calendar handy for Week 2 dates.
