Meet Angela, SJSU graduate student and one of the leaders of Lurie College!

“Seven years ago, I left my home country, Colombia, to come to the Golden State. I am so grateful for having the opportunity to continue my professional growth. Now I am pursuing a Master of Arts in Education and Counseling. I have met brilliant professors who have inspired me during this journey to become an educator. They have taught me the importance of staying actively aware of social justice. I am committed to support, motivate, guide, and inspire other students through their education and success.”
