Meet Luna, recently graduated SJSU undergrad and one of the leaders of Lurie College!

“I, like many, chose to attend college to try and live out my dreams and make the world a better place. I have hopes of the world becoming a more accessible place for those who may not fit the majority’s idea of “normal”. My focus is on the Deaf culture – the culture I call my own as a CODA from a generationally Deaf family. One day I’ll be a part of a large movement for accessibility and maybe owning a healthcare practice where everyone employed is fluent in ASL and well-versed in Deaf culture.”
