College students over the age of 25 are often overlooked in efforts to increase student success. Yet, adult learners make up over one-third of all undergraduate students. Adult learners have distinct challenges when pursuing their education. In addition to balancing coursework with jobs, many adult learners have family responsibilities/roles and other layers that make up who they are as a student.
