Meet Melanie, recently graduated SJSU grad student and one of the leaders of Lurie College!

“My experiences as both a student and an educator left me with many questions about the education system and how schools do, or do not, support students. The College of Education provided me with the tools and support I needed to seek answers and continue asking questions in pursuit of inclusive and effective schools for all students. I am grateful to the faculty for fostering this inquisitiveness and for guiding future educators to be thoughtful, self-reflective critical thinkers.”
