Lurie College Faculty Becomes Department Chair

Congratulations to SJSU Lurie College of Education faculty Dr. Nidhi Mahendra, who has become the Interim Chair for the Department of Communicative Disorders and Sciences for the 2019-20 academic year.  Dr. Mahendra brings a wealth of experience and expertise to this role.  She previously served as Chair of the Department of Communicative Science and Disorders at Cal State East Bay, directs the Spartan Aphasia Research Clinic at SJSU, and is a core faculty member of the Interdisciplinary Center for Healthy Aging in Multicultural Populations.  We look forward to Dr. Mahendra’s leadership in the coming year!
