Using Project Code 88888 for Reimbursed Salary Authorization (RSA) Transactions

Salary payments associated with an RSA must use the generic project code 88888 in transactions, rather than the actual project ID.  The generic code ensures that duplicate invoicing does not occur, as ABSO has already completed the corresponding billing. The payment type generally falls into one of the categories below:

• Category 2403 or Special Consultant: Use a position number linked to the corresponding cost recovery fund 78005 or 78006 and project code 88888.
• Miscellaneous Payment: The Payment Source Combo Code on the Miscellaneous Payment Form in OnBase should reflect the corresponding cost recovery fund 78005 or 78006, in combination with project code 88888.
