Advance Registration & Enrollment Limit

Advance Registration for Spring 2013 is from 7 am on Tuesday, November 6 to 11:59 pm on Sunday, January 13, 2013.  Enrollment is limited to a maximum of 16 units. 

Note: The excess unit petition is only available for students with a Spring 2013 graduation application on file. No exceptions.

Enrollment Limit for Graduating Students

Spring 2013 candidates for graduation will be eligible to register for up to 18 units on Wednesday, January 2, 2013. Your graduation application must be on file with the Office of the Registrar on or before December 10.

For graduating seniors wanting to take more than 18 units, excess unit petitions will be available on January 2, 2013. The maximum units allowed, with petition, is 21 units.

Winter ’13 Registration Appointments & Enrollment Limit

Advance Registration

Advance Registration for Winter 2013 is from 7 am on Thursday, November 1 to 11:59 pm on Wednesday, December 19.

Enrollment Limit

Enrollment is limited to a maximum of 4 units.

Fall ’12 Enrollment Limited to 15 Units

Graduating Students

You are eligible to enroll at any time for a maximum of 18 units without a petition. If you need to enroll in more than 18 units (up to a maximum of 21 units), please complete and submit an Excess Units Petition.

All Other Students

Enrollment for Fall 2012 is limited to 15 units. If you need to enroll in more than 15 units (up to a maximum of 18 units), please complete and submit an Excess Units Petition.

Excess Units Petition

This petition is available for download at Office of the Registrar Academic Forms. Conditions and Requirements for Approval are listed on the petition. Submit this petition to Academic Advising and Retention Services from August 2 until September 11 (the last day to add).

Fall Advanced Registration Ends August 15

The Advanced Registration period for Fall 2010 began June 8 and will end on August 15 at 11:59 pm. The enrollment limit is 14 units during this time. Once Fall term starts on August 25, the limit will be increased to 18 units. For more information, visit Fall 2010 Registration Calendar.
