Official Transcripts Temporarily Unavailable

Due to the high volume of Official Transcript Requests at the end of the semester, the processing time will take longer. Transcript processing will be unavailable beginning at 4 pm on May 24 through June 5 while our office finalizes grades and academic standing.

Transcript processing will resume on Thursday, June 6. We appreciate your patience.

Faculty Access for Spring ’13 Grade Rosters

Grading Opens May 8

Grade rosters for all regular and special session classes with end dates through May 31 will be opened for access at 7 am on Wednesday, May 8. Grades can be entered at this time.

Grading Closes May 30

The final deadline for faculty to enter grades in Self-Service is at 11:59 pm on Thursday, May 30.

Change of grade forms to clear Incomplete grades from Spring ’12 and prior terms, and Spring ’11 RP grades are due by 4:45 pm at window ‘R’ in the Student Services Center.

Please take a few minutes to provide meaningful feedback about your learning experiences. At San José State, evaluations matter! Let your voice be heard so instructors can improve their courses.

The SJSU Student Evaluation Review Board has announced that it is now time to evaluate your instructors’ teaching for courses taken during Spring ’13. To participate in the online teaching evaluation, follow the instructions below.

Evaluation Period

The evaluation period closes at 11:59 pm on Monday, May 13.

Online Evaluation Instructions

  1. Sign in to your MySJSU account
  2. In the left-hand menu, select Online SOTE Ratings
    A list of course(s) that you enrolled in this semester will display
  3. Click a link to start the evaluation

Payment Due Date

The final Spring 2013 payment due date is Sunday, March 17.

Check Your Balance in MySJSU

Please sign in to MySJSU and verify that you do not have an outstanding balance.  If you see that you do have a balance due, please make your payment by the due date to avoid any negative consequences.

New Online GE Courses Begin March 5

New Online Courses

SJSU Online is offering the following special session online courses that can fulfill your GE requirements in areas V and R, as well as some of your major requirements:

  • BUS3 80:  Legal Environment of BusinessSJSU student with laptop
    (major requirement)
  • BUS2 90:  Business Statistics
    (major requirement)
  • CHAD 106:  Concepts of Childhood
    (GE area V)
  • MATH 133A:  Ordinary Differential Equations
    (major requirement)
  • METR 112:  Global Climate Change
    (GE area R)
  • SOCI 101:  Social Theories
    (major requirement)

Classes Begin March 5

These Spring 2013 classes will run for a period of 10-weeks (March 5 – May 14) and will be completely online.

Registration Opens February 25

Registration will begin on Monday, February 25. As an SJSU student, you can register in MySJSU. For the complete calendar dates of adding and dropping classes, please visit SJSU Online.

Tuition Costs

It is important to note that tuition for SJSU Online courses for Spring 2013 is $350 per credit (example: a 3-credit course is $1,050). This means that each of these will be an extra $1,050 on top of your regular tuition.
