Spring ’14 Enrollment Limited to 16 Units

16 Unit Limit (Most Students)

For most students, enrollment for Spring 2014 is limited to a maximum of 16 units.

18 Unit Limit (Graduating Students Only)

Spring 2014 and Fall 2014 candidates for graduation will be eligible to register for up to 18 units beginning on Tuesday, November 5. Note: Your graduation application must be on file with the Office of the Registrar on or before Friday, November 1.

21 Unit Limit (with Excess Units Petition)

Note: The excess unit petition is only available for students with a Spring or Fall 2014 graduation application on file. No exceptions.

For graduating seniors wanting to take more than 18 units, excess unit petitions will be available on Friday, November 15 at Office of the Registrar’s Forms.  The maximum units allowed, with petition, is 21 units.

Spring ’14 Advance Registration Opens Nov 5

Advance Registration for Spring 2014 is from 7 am on Tuesday, November 5 to 11:59 pm on Sunday, January 12.

Beginning on November 5, candidates for Spring 2014 and Fall 2014 graduation will be able to register for up to 18 units. You must have a graduation application on file. No exceptions.

When can I begin adding classes for Spring ’14?

Enrollment AppointmentsSJSU Student Picking Classes

You may not begin registering (adding classes) until your enrollment appointment date and time.

Newly admitted Freshmen & Transfer students will receive an enrollment appointment once the Admissions office has verified you attended orientation and met the CSU Eligibility academic requirements. Due to high volume in the number of admitted students, this evaluation process can take 4 to 8 weeks.

Spring 2014 enrollment appointments will be posted on MySJSU starting Tuesday, October 29.
