KIN Undergraduates Recognized at Annual SJSU Celebration of Research

Please join us in congratulating three KIN undergraduate majors that were recognized this past Wednesday at the Annual SJSU Celebration of Research. Each of these students were recipients of undergraduate research grants this past semester.

Under the direction of Dr. Areum Jensen, the following KIN students presented their research posters.

Rachel Christensen, presentation title “Alterations in autonomic function on cardiovascular system in autism spectrum disorder”

Cory Low, presentation title “The effect of resistance training on musculoskeletal system in adults with cerebral palsy”

Pooja Pal, presentation title “Relationships between muscular strength and body composition in adults with cerebral palsy”

KIN Dept Adds New Faculty to Sport Mgmt Program: Theodore Hayduk

KIN community!

It is with great pleasure that we announce Theodore Hayduk as the latest addition to our full time tenure track faculty ranks!

Mr. Hayduk will be joining us this fall as a specialist in Sport Management.

Theodore joins us from Texas A & M University where his is currently finishing up his Doctorate in Strategic Entrepreneurship in Sport.

In addition to his scholarly contributions, Theodore will be instrumental in facilitating growth in our sport management program thereby helping to prepare our students for careers in wide assortment of sport-related occupations.

We are excited to welcome Theodore and know that he will be a fantastic addition to the department of kinesiology at SJSU.
