“Ivanna performs a dual (technically triple) role as a student-athlete (with the Women’s Water Polo team and a Kinesiology graduate student) and a graduate assistant (with San José State Athletics – Marketing). She is showcasing her Spartan commitment by managing her schedule with early morning practices with the Women’s Water Polo team and evening/night graduate school classes on a regular basis along with traveling with the Women’s Water Polo team for games during the season, working with Athletics in the Administration Office on South Campus along with working home games for various sports. She has truly stepped beyond and is an example for her passion and commitment to San José State University.”
