Dear campus community,

As students return to campus and continue to settle into the new semester, I have some great news to share: We will be conducting fully in-person commencement events for our spring and summer graduates!

We know how special commencement ceremonies are to our students, their families, and all members of our campus community. I am thrilled that we are again able to celebrate our students’ accomplishments together.

Commencement ceremonies will be held at our Provident Credit Union Event Center from May 25-27. Eligible spring and summer 2022 graduating students will soon receive emails about registration, and more detailed information is available on our commencement website. We will, of course, continue to follow CDC, County, and CSU guidelines on COVID-19 for any modifications to current policies on in-person events. 

I’m looking forward to celebrating with our thousands of Spartans as they reach this important milestone in their educational journey, and I’m proud to have fantastic faculty and staff members at this campus who have helped them all along the way.

Best wishes, students, as you progress through spring semester. And to everyone else, let’s all encourage our soon-to-be graduates as they continue their path toward the finish line in May!
