Dr. KyungMo Han is the Director of the Professional Athletic Training Program (ATP) in the Department of Kinesiology at San José State University. This program is accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Athletic Training Education (CAATE). In 2009, Dr. Han prepared a self-study and hosted CAATE site visit, and the program was awarded a 10-year re-accreditation.
Dr. Han is a Board of Certification (BOC) Certified Athletic Trainer (ATC) and also holds a certification through the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA) as a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS). Prior to his current position, Dr. Han was the ATP Director at Cal State Dominguez Hills and an adjunct faculty of ATP at Brigham Young University.
Dr. Han served as the Medical Service Manager for the city of Seoul Team for the 97th 2016 National Sports Festival, Head Athletic Trainer for the 14th2002 Asian Games Judo, and also served as a member of the medical service team for the 1999 and 2000 World Cup Short Track Speed Skating.
Currently, Dr. Han is a member of the International Board of Certification (iBOC) Council and represents Korea to establish and develop the ethical standards and certification exam for the iBOC with the World Federation of Athletic Training and Therapy (WFATT). He served as a Board of Certification (BOC) exam cut score panelist and examiner.
