KIN Convocation: Class of 2013 Graduation Information

Hello KIN Class of 2013!

This includes students who graduated this past Fall.
The KIN Convocation committee has been hard at work putting together the department’s convocation ceremony to honor your achievement of a baccalaureate or masters degree.
We have some initial information for you now and also ask that you complete a brief survey to help us with planning and organizing the event.
 4 items.
 1st, the Kin convocation event will be on campus (south tower lawn) from 4-6pm on Friday May 24th.  Light refreshments will be provided.  Dress: professional (no jeans/shorts…)
2nd, tickets will be available for purchase by check ($13 each) in the KIN main office (spx 56) beginning Wednesday March 6th.

Please do complete the survey so we can gather highlights about you, the class of 2013, and get some critical information we need for planning.
 Note: One of the items in the survey asks if you are interested in purchasing a KIN sash.  

Important KIN Dept. Graduation Information & Reminders

This is a reminder to students about the up-coming graduation filing deadline.  The deadline to apply for May 2013 graduation is Friday, February 15th.  This deadline is for those students that have been informed of their advancement to candidacy and expect to graduate this May.
They can submit their application in-person at the Student Services Center, or by fax at 408-924-2477, or by email to irene.ho@sjsu.edu

Students will be able to see in their Mysjsu account a receipt of their application in 3-5 business days after their submission.
In addition, if you plan to sign up for KIN 298/299 please submit the forms no later than Thursday Feb. 7th. The add deadline is Monday Feb. 11th and this will give us time to process your request.
