Student Internships | SJSU Social Impact Program

11/18/13 – The SJSU Social Impact Internship Program is seeking applications from SJSU students for 5-7 semester-long internships where they will have the opportunity to develop and advocate for social impact projects in Santa Clara County.  The Program is funded by the Santa Clara County Board of Supervisors and is particularly interested in projects that address poverty and inequality as they affect issues like employment, living wages, education, housing, health care, food security, or immigrant rights.  Students are expected to complete 15-20 hours a week during these paid internships ($16-19 an hour).  This opportunity is open to students from all majors, undergraduate and graduate students on either a full-time or part-time basis.  Contact Dr. Scott Myers-Lipton, Program Director, for more information.
