Christine Ma-Kellams is an associate professor of the Department of Psychology. Her research draws on social and cultural psychology to explore how thoughts, emotions, and close relationships interact as a function of a person’s ethnicity, gender or social group memberships. She holds a doctoral degree in social psychology from the University of California, Santa Barbara and completed her postdoctoral training in both the psychology department and the Kennedy School of Government at Harvard University.
