Matthew Holian is the chair of the Department of Economics in the College of Social Sciences. He holds a doctoral degree in economics from The Ohio State University. His research centers on the following areas in economics: urban, transportation, environmental, labor and migration. His interests include cost-benefit analysis, public policy decision-making, housing, urban quality of life, and outdoor recreation.
