Allison Briceño is an associate professor in the Teacher Education Department at the Connie L. Lurie College of Education. She researches bilingual education, biliteracy, and (bi)literacy teacher preparation. She is vice president of the California Reading Association and an editor of The Reading Teacher. She holds a doctoral degree from the University of San Francisco.
