Lecture by Dr. Mythri Jegathesan on Minority Woman Workers in Sri Lanka

The Carol Mukhopadhyay Feminist Lecture Series presents Dr. Mythri Jegathesan speaking on “Stately Discomforts: Labor, Reproductive Rights, and Sexuality among Minority Women in Postwar Sri Lanka.” Dr. Jegathesan is a cultural anthropologist and Assistant Professor at Santa Clara University. She researches gender, labor, minority politics, and development in Sri Lanka, where she has conducted ethnographic research since 2005.
