We are excited that the Chancellor’s Office has announced the inaugural Trustee Wenda Fong and Mr. Daniel Fetterly Staff Award, a new CSU Board of Trustees recognition program celebrating the extraordinary contributions of CSU staff. This award honors staff whose creativity, equity-driven leadership and commitment to student success exemplifies the very best of the CSU. The program includes three individual awards of $25,000 and one team award of $25,000 (shared among up to five team members).
Last week, the Human Resource offices were advised that each campus may submit 1-2 nominations for each award category. These will be forwarded to the Chancellor’s Office by the campus President. We are in the process of establishing a selection committee to establish our process, outline the criteria for eligibility, and create appropriate nomination documents.
We expect additional details to be communicated to campus shortly after the beginning of the New Year.
