“The Housing office was busy when Kim happened to walk through. Always ready to help others, she asked a student if he needed assistance. He started to explain, but was tearing up as it was a very sensitive issue.  Kim sat with him and listened with empathy. She found out who he needed to see to get the situation handled immediately, as it could not be set aside for a later time. Then, she walked him down to the RLC’s office and stayed with him, offering true concern and support. This was truly going above and beyond – a trait that is intrinsic in Kim’s nature.
