Please join us for a University Scholar Series presentation by Dr. Jan English-Lueck: Being and Well-Being: Health and the Working Bodies of Silicon Valley.
The Office of the Provost, the University Library, and the Spartan Bookstore cordially invite you to attend the University Scholar Series. This series provides a unique opportunity for showcasing the important research and scholarly activities of SJSU faculty members. The second presentation of the Fall semester is tomorrow, October 24th from noon to 1pm in The Martin Luther King Jr Library, rooms 225/229.
Dr. Jan English-Lueck is an anthropologist, associate dean of the College of Social Sciences at SJSU, and a distinguished fellow at the Institute for the Future. She has authored several books that explore how working in Silicon Valley shapes our communities, families and bodies. Most recent she authored Being and Well-being: Health and the Working Bodies of Silicon Valley.
