On Saturday November 17th, the Ballroom Dance Club at SJSU will host its 16th annual Ballroom Classic Competition.  Faculty advisor Dr. Bethany Shifflett and Club Officer

Nhu-Y Tran (Kinesiology major) report that entries include competitors from area dance studios (studio one, crystal ballroom dance studio, spotlight dance) as well as university teams ( Caltech, Cal Poly, SJSU, Berkeley, Stanford, UC Santa Barbara).

The club will run 70 events covering all American Smooth, American Rhythm, International Standard and International Latin dances as well as a night club event (hustle, night club two step, west coast swing, hustle).  Come cheer on our SJSU competitors!

Join us! The event is held at the Calvary gym at 16330 Los Gatos Boulevard, Los Gatos, CA 95032.  Competition will begin at 11:30am and run until about 9pm.
