During the seven years of Acceleration: The Campaign for San José State University, more than 30,000 individuals, 2,396 corporations and 200 foundations gave to support every department on campus—from the University Library to Athletics. More than $53 million was contributed to student scholarships and fellowships during the campaign. Many Silicon Valley companies contributed to programs that provide student internships. $17.3 million was contributed to facilities such as labs and smart classrooms.
