The Silicon Valley Center for Operations & Technology Management (SVCOTM) is a bridge between academic capacities of the College of Business and industrial resources within the Bay Area and around the world. Our students are expected to obtain more industrial opportunities and enhance their career prospects in the fields of operations, supply chain, and technology managements.
The SVCOTM is dedicated to better inspire and develop our students and serve the educational goal of the San Jose State University. By partnering with business firms and industrial practitioners, the Center will offer more industrial experiences to our students and faculty members, catalyst a higher level of operational and technological performance for partnering companies, and enhance the impact and visibility of the College of Business. The Center will be a knowledge portal for sharing academic and industrial information related to operations, supply chain, and technology management among students, faculty members and industry partners.

Director
Dr. Taeho Park
Taeho Park is a professor in the Organization and Management department at San Jose State University. Dr. Park has BS and MS in Industrial Engineering from Seoul National University, Korea, and Ph.D. in Industrial Engineering from University of Wisconsin-Madison. His research focused on operations/supply chain management, total quality management, enterprise risk management, and technology management. He has more than 20 years experiences on consulting, training, workshops, and seminars for various industries, such as electronics and logistics. Dr. Park is the author of research papers in many journals, including Journal of Operations Management, International Journal of Production Research, European Journal of Operational Research, Int. J. of Computer Applications in Technology, and so on.
Assistant Director
Dr. Ming Zhou
Dr. Ming Zhou is an associate professor of operations and supply chain management at the College of Business, San Jose State University. He received his Ph.D. in supply chain management from the University of Maryland, College Park. His research focuses on technology management, electronic supply chain, and service operations using econometrics and game theory models. His professional experiences include Merkel Direct Marketing and Price Waterhouse as well as many consulting projects.
