Maggie Carrera (University Personnel) is Stepping Beyond

“Maggie was extremely helpful in onboarding our new manager when I was out of the office. They took on tasks I would normally do – e.g. taking our new employee to lunch, meeting the UP staff, touring the campus, etc. – and the onboarding process was smooth. I appreciate them stepping up when I was out of the office!!”

Cindy Aubrey (Department of Communicative Disorders and Sciences) is Stepping Beyond

In every way – as our department administrative support coordinator, Cindy is the first face/voice of contact who represent the department to students, faculty, lecturers and anyone who enters the dept office. To find her consistently welcoming, friendly, supportive, attentive and able to assist anyone promptly says a lot about her. She is a warm, generous, giving and sensitive person who will prioritize others’ needs and well-being consistently ahead of hers. It has been a privilege to work closely with her, to collaborate for so many dept and student-focused projects and to be department chair alongside her. She is undeniably an asset to our department!”
