Kerstein, Sky (Sports Information) is Stepping Beyond

“Sky is leading the Media Relations department and has done a great job promoting our 22 intercollegiate sports. Football received a lot of media attention this fall and made a bowl game for the second time over the last three years. We were featured on ESPN several times, including four SC Top 10 plays over the course of the last few months. He continues to keep San José State in the spotlight by telling all the great stories of our 500-plus student-athletes.”

Chang, Angel (Institutional Research) is Stepping Beyond

“Angel was the H&A analyst responsible for supporting the Reflection on College Writing for several years, but she left earlier this year for a better position. She deserves unbounded praise for her work on behalf of the RCW in general, but this year, she’s gone above and beyond. Even after leaving the position, she’s continued to help out whenever she was able, which has been especially helpful as the RCW has been passed into new hands that need some extra support and guidance. Angel’s a wonderful resource and an exceptionally efficient analyst, but more importantly, she’s a wonderful person who makes the people around her more successful.”

Huynh, Kim (Undergraduate Education) is Stepping Beyond

“When the H&A analyst who worked with the Reflection on College Writing moved into a new position, Kim stepped up to help us clear student registration holds. Kim’s been graciously and efficiently helping us out almost every day, including days when she was away from the office. Without her we’d be completely lost.”
