This interesting book is well-written in a memoir-type format. Rush weaves together her personal experiences with eye-opening information about rising sea levels at various places in the United States. The book lacks a strong narrative through-line, and does not strike me as the kind of book that will easily stimulate discussion from different points of view. I do not recommend that we select this book for next year.
