Marco Meniketti Wins Award by SHA and the Dender and Minority Affairs Committee

Marco Meniketti (Anthropology) wins first place in the GMAC Diversity Field School Competition. This was awarded by the Society for Historical Archaeology, Gender and Minority Affairs Committee, during the Conference in New Orleans on January 10. The award acknowledges archaeological field schools that incorporate diversity in archaeological practices, and research and show outstanding commitment to diversity in student participation. The SJSU Nevis Heritage Landscape Project was also recognized for its dedication to diversity and inclusion of student participation.
