Global Career Day | College of Business

4/9/14 @ 7:30 AM – 1:15 PM @ Student Union | Barrett Ballroom – The College of Business invites students and other interested members of the campus to attend its first Global Career Day.  Organized by Malu Roldan (2013 Salzburg Fellow),Tanvi Kothari (2013 Salzburg Fellow), and Skylar Lewandowski (2013 Salzburg Scholar), the event features a keynote address and other presentations from professionals working in multinational corporations about options for working globally.  For more information, see the attached flyer or register directly to attend the event.

 

Poetry Reading | National Women’s History Month

3/13/14 @ 4:30-6:00 PM in MLK 225 – With support from the Provost’s Office, Jennifer Madigan (2012 Salzburg Fellow) is organizing a poetry reading by Najia Karim, wife of President Qayoumi, to commemorate National Women’s History month.  Ms. Karim will present her poetry based on her life in Afghanistan before and after the Taliban.  Members of the Cultural Society of Afghan Women will also share their artwork and a multimedia presentation highlighting this theme.  A reception will follow the event where attendees can meet the artists.  Contact Jennifer Madigan for more information or see the attached flyer.
