SJSU Ranked #9 In the Top 10 Universities For Software Engineering Degrees

SJSU’s engineering program in the heart of Silicon Valley has just been recognized as #9 on the list of the top 10 engineering degree programs in the United States by CodeSignal. The #9 ranking is connected to students’ coding skills. 

“When you rank schools by an objective measure of their students’ technical skills, you’ll find that talent comes from everywhere,” CodeSignal’s website proclaims.

The news delighted current student Pari Sharma, ‘26 Computer Science. “I think it’s amazing,” she says. “I think this ranking really speaks to the passion and dedication and innovation of our students.” The proximity to Silicon Valley companies gives SJSU students access to internships, AI and many other technological innovations as they look to the future. 

“I’ve never regretted my decision to come [to SJSU],” Sharma says. “I’ve gotten so many opportunities, I worked with Amazon on a project this semester, so it’s been priceless.”
