“Being recognized in this ranking is a testament to the dedication of our faculty and staff, and reaffirms our commitment to providing world-class hands-on learning opportunities that prepare our students for success when they graduate,” said President Cynthia Teniente-Matson. “Spartans are changing the world, beginning here at the epicenter of the future, where inclusivity in creativity and innovation is driving societal change.”
SJSU also appeared on Money’s rankings for Best Public Colleges, Best Colleges in the West and Best Colleges with High Acceptance Rates. The university also remains Money magazine’s #1 Most Transformative University, an honor SJSU first received in 2020.
Money magazine said the following about SJSU: “At over 73%, its graduation rate is nearly 15% higher than predicted based on its student demographics, according to Money’s analysis. Like much of the California State University system, SJSU is regularly recognized for its accessibility, and it scores well on multiple measures of economic and social mobility.”
