(February 16, 2012) – San Jose State University’s institutional commercial produced by Spartan Film Studios, the SJSU film production company, just won an Award of Excellence from the Broadcast Education Association. The commercial, produced by Spartan Film Studios Co-­Directors Barnaby Dallas and Nick Martinez, involved five SJSU alumni and over 30 students.

The commercial was filmed over four days using the same camera as “Transformers 3.” The spot showcased 18 SJSU locations and was broadcasted on all of the ESPN channels during televised SJSU football games.
