SJSU is featured on the cover of “Insight into Diversity” magazine’s December 2011 issue.

In “The State of Disability Accommodations on College Campuses,” Editor Michael Rainey explores six case studies including San Jose State.

He wrote: “The oldest public institution of learning on the West Coast, San Jose State University is renowned for having one of the most diverse student populations in the nation. SJSU’s Disability Resource Center has facilitated academic accommodations and retention services to students with disabilities since 1972. DRC works closely with students towards creating an accessible and comparative learning environment … It’s comforting to know that some of North America’s leading institutions of higher education are setting the bar high.”
