Summary: The Center for Literary Arts and San Jose Stage Company present author Daniel Handler, a.k.a. Lemony Snicket. In addition to an evening reading and book signing on campus, Handler will participate in a children-oriented event at The Stage on October 26, 2011, at 4 p.m. These events are co-sponsored by Hicklebee’s. 

According to the Center for Literary Arts website, “Handler is the author of the novels The Basic Eight, Watch Your Mouth, Adverbs, and the forthcoming novel for teens, Why We Broke Up. He also wrote far too many books as Lemony Snicket, including 13 Words, a collaboration with Maira Kalman, and the screenplays for the films A Series of Unfortunate Events, Kill the Poor, and Rick. Handler lives in San Francisco with his wife and child.”
