’15 Business Administration
“You can only be as big as your dreams, so dream big.”
After Chiu analyzed his potential via a SWOT analysis (strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats), he decided a business administration degree with a concentration in finance was the way to go. Honored as a Dean’s Scholar, Chiu clearly made the right choice. A member of SJSU’s Banking and Investment Association, CFA Investment Research Challenge team and the Economist Case Competition team, Chiu counts among his motivational inspirations his 14-month-old son. “Every night when I look at him,” Chiu says, “I’m reminded why the hectic schedule of a 15-unit semester, combined with a full-time job, is worth it.”
