Spring ’13 Registration Appointments & Enrollment Limits

Advance Registration & Enrollment Limit

Advance Registration for Spring 2013 is from 7 am on Tuesday, November 6 to 11:59 pm on Sunday, January 13, 2013.  Enrollment is limited to a maximum of 16 units. 

Note: The excess unit petition is only available for students with a Spring 2013 graduation application on file. No exceptions.

Enrollment Limit for Graduating Students

Spring 2013 candidates for graduation will be eligible to register for up to 18 units on Wednesday, January 2, 2013. Your graduation application must be on file with the Office of the Registrar on or before December 10.

For graduating seniors wanting to take more than 18 units, excess unit petitions will be available on January 2, 2013. The maximum units allowed, with petition, is 21 units.

Winter ’13 Registration Appointments & Enrollment Limit

Advance Registration

Advance Registration for Winter 2013 is from 7 am on Thursday, November 1 to 11:59 pm on Wednesday, December 19.

Enrollment Limit

Enrollment is limited to a maximum of 4 units.

Fall ’12 Advance Registration Closes Aug 12

Advance Registration will be closed at 11:59 pm on Sunday, August 12. No Registration activities will be allowed from Monday, August 13 through Tuesday, August 21.

Other important dates are as follows:

  • Aug 10: If you need  assistance from the Registrar’s staff, please come to window ‘R’ at Student Services Center (SSC) no later than 4:30 pm on Friday, August 10.
  • Aug 22: Late registration will open in MySJSU at 7 am on Wednesday, August 22 (the first day of instruction) and registration will close at 11:59 pm on September 11.
  • Sept 4: The last day to drop without a ‘W’ grade is Tuesday, September 4.
  • Sept 11: The last day to add a class is Tuesday, September 11.

Summer 2012 Registration Appointments

Summer Registration Appointments will be posted on MySJSU starting Tuesday, April 3. For instructions on how to view your appointment, see View My Enrollment Appointments.
