What are the tuition differences between Regular Session and Special Session?

According to Bursar Office, following table is for a MSDA student taking classes in Fall 2024. This table just serves as a reference for Resident and Non-resident students. Tuition and fees are subject to change. Please refer to the website of Bursar Office for official amounts.

Please keep in mind that Regular Session tuition is calculated based on a flat fee depending on the number of units a student is enrolled in and also varies based on a students’ California residency status, while Special Session is charged as a per unit fee regardless of residency status.
