Free “Applications of Mathematics Conference” hosted by Sonoma State

Sonoma State University is hosting a Mathematics Conference, sponsored by Pi Mu Epsilon, the mathematics honor society, on Saturday, October 26, 2013, and we would like to invite students from San Jose State University’s Math Department to attend.  The theme of the conference is Applications of Mathematics, and is open to both math and science majors.  The conference includes professional lectures, a career panel, a poster session, information on graduate school and student presentations.  PDF flier for the event, and More information can be found on our website.  Please encourage students in the Math Department to register to attend and forward the Applications of Mathematics Conference Flier to any student who might be interested.
