Meet Luz, SJSU undergraduate student and one of the leaders of Lurie College!

“I believe that education is the foundation of success. As I become an educator, I want to make a difference in education. I believe that all children should receive the best education available to them regardless of their socioeconomic status or their race. This is why I want to become a counselor and work with high school students who live in low-income communities to motivate, inspire and to encourage students to strive for success.”
