Meet Maria, recently graduated SJSU undergraduate student and one of the leaders of Lurie College!

“Growing up I had a wonderful 4th grade teacher that told me that I could go to college. She inspired me to become a teacher and inspire other students to believe in themselves. Coming from an immigrant and low income family was hard to reach the doors of college. SJSU Lurie College of Education has provided the tools I need to be in the path of graduating in summer 2019.”
