SJSU Department of Kinesiology and Peer Connections: Join Us!

On behalf of the SJSU Department of Kinesiology and Peer Connections, we wish to welcome or welcome you back to SJSU!

If you are interested in having an SJSU Kinesiology Mentor for the 2013-2014 academic year, please read and follow the information below.

The purpose of the Kinesiology Mentor Program is to provide mentors for new kinesiology majors/minors and new undeclared students who wish to become kinesiology major/minors. A Kinesiology Mentor is an experienced and successful kinesiology student who can provide you with general advice, guidance, support, and direct you toward the resources you need to get your questions answered and to succeed as a student. The vast majority of the mentorship will take place though Email.

To be assigned a Kinesiology Mentor, you need to attend the Meet Your Kinesiology Mentor Meeting on Thursday, August 29th, 2013 from 4:30-6:00 pm. The meeting will take place in Spartan Complex (SPX) room 107 (the conference room) and the surrounding courtyard.

If you plan to attend the Meet Your Kinesiology Mentor Meeting, please go to this link http://www.surveymonkey.com/s/W96YDC8 and respond “yes” to the question by noon on Wednesday, August 28th. This is so that we can estimate the amount of food to provide at the meeting.

If you are unavailable at this day and time and would still like to be assigned a Kinesiology Mentor, please Email kinesiologymentorcoordinator@gmail.com. We may be able to make an alternative arrangement for you.

Feel free to Email me at kinesiologymentorcoordinator@gmail.com
if you have any questions.

I look forward to meeting you on August 29th!
