Spartan Mambo Fundraiser…Salsa Bash

Message from SJSU Dance Club:

We are reaching out on behalf of Spartan Mambo, a competitive Salsa Dancing team at San Jose State University. Our team represents San Jose State at events across the country, and has won titles in competitions such as the San Francisco Salsa Congress and the US Salsa Open Championships. Last year we became the first college team ever to win a title at the World Latin Dance Cup held in Miami.

This year we will be competing at the College Salsa Congress held in May in Los Angeles, and we are seeking donations to help cover our expenses. Your donation will bring us closer to our goal of raising $4,000, which will help us cover our travel and lodging expenses as well as our costumes. We are a completely self-funded team, so a donation of any amount would be greatly appreciated.

Your donation will be publicly acknowledged at our upcoming salsa event, Salsa Bash, which is expected to draw over 150 students. We will also feature your company on our website ( and promote you across our social media profiles on Facebook, Google+, and Instagram.

The donation is 100% tax-deductible, and our tax ID will be provided upon request. We can accept donations via cash, check, or PayPal.

Thank you for taking the time to review our request , and if you have any questions please don’t hesitate to contact Lisa Vitale (Spartan Mambo Finance Officer) at
