Emmanuel Sequeira is an assistant professor of finance in the Department of Accounting and Finance at the Lucas College and Graduate School of Business. His research interests include examining the effects of changes to a firm’s information environment through various channels such as employee whistleblowing, changes in financial reporting transparency and changes in comparability of financial reports. He holds a doctoral degree in business administration with a concentration in finance from the University of Texas at El Paso.

Julian Vogel is an assistant professor in the Department of Accounting and Finance at the Lucas College and Graduate School of Business with a focus on corporate finance, especially capital structure, corporate payout policy, diversity, and corporate governance, as well as investments, and capital markets and institutions. In his research and teaching, he takes an interdisciplinary perspective to explore businesses as parts of complex systems. He holds a doctoral degree in business administration and finance from The University of Texas at El Paso. He is fluent in English, German, Spanish, and French and has garnered deep cross-cultural insights from his study and work abroad.
