Congratulations to Professor Beth Von Till on being selected to receive a 2013 YWCA Silicon Valley Tribute to Women and Industry Award (YWCA TWIN). Beth will be honored, along with an exclusive group of YWCA TWIN Honorees, at an Awards Dinner on Tuesday, May 21st in downtown San Jose. The YWCA TWIN Awards Program is in its 29th year and has long been considered one of Silicon Valley’s most prestigious awards. The YWCA TWIN Awards Program honors both women executives who exemplify excellence in executive-level positions and the companies who employ them. This event also showcases “empowered” women while highlighting our Honorees as role models as to what all young girls in Silicon Valley can aspire to become. Beth was nominated by SJSU President Mo Qayomi for this award based on the outstanding achievements and critical contributions she has made to SJSU.
