Professor Monica Peck’s Poetry Published in Groundbreaking Anthology

Kudos to Professor Monica Peck whose work is published this month in Troubling the Line: An Anthology of Trans and Genderqueer Poetry and Poetics.

The first book of its kind, Troubling the Line: Trans and Genderqueer Poetry and Poetics includes a diverse group of more than fifty poets from various backgrounds offering a range of aesthetic perspectives. Accompanying each poet’s writing are “poetics statements”—reflections by each poet on issues such as identification, embodiment, language and activism to provide context for their work. The book has a major launch this week in Boston at the Association of Writers and Writing Programs (AWP) conference (the largest showcase of independent literary and creative writing in the country). You can read more here.

Congratulations Professor Peck!
